A Full Frame Telephoto Zoom from Nikon
A new VR or image stabilised lens is always interesting for photographers that shoot stills and motion. Today Nikon have announced a full frame version of its previous APS-C 70-300 F4.5-5.6E ED. Although a fairly slow lens, the optical stabilisation may have some use for videographers who need to shoot something a little distant. Nikon claims 4.5 stops of image stabilisation as opposed to 2.5 on their previous version. Price is $699 as listed on the Nikon USA website.
The minimum focus distance of 1,2m may also be useful to film makers that like to get close to smaller objects. Does this lens appeal to you either of stills or motion, let us know in the comment or on our Facebook Page
